The upcoming Polly Pocket film has a brand new replace.
With the latest success of the Barbie film, Mattel is popping lots of their iconic toys into motion pictures. One film that’s at the moment within the works is predicated on the Polly Pocket toy line. This can star Lily Collins, recognized for her roles in Emily in Paris and Mank. Will probably be written and directed by Lena Dunham, who not too long ago made motion pictures like Sharp Stick and Catherine Referred to as Birdy and created the TV present Women.
Robbie Brenner, Head of Mattel Studios, has commented on the Polly Pocket film. “Initially, they’re two of my favourite women ever,” Brenner advised Number of Collins and Dunham. “It’s been an incredible collaboration. Lena is so collaborative and rolls up her sleeves and actually likes to roll round in notes and pay attention. She’s unbelievable. Lily is so sensible and so particular and so productorial. It’s simply been an unbelievable collaboration, so we’re thrilled about it. Hopefully, we’ll be making that in some unspecified time in the future sooner or later.”
