Blacklist International managed to win a fierce competition against ECHO to win the MPL PH S10 title.
Blacklist International managed to become the MPL PH S10 champion after having an outstanding performance throughout the league. After becoming champions of the regular season, they were able to maintain that performance in the playoffs, until they managed to win over ECHO in the grand final on Sunday (23/10/2022).
In the grand final match, Blacklist got fierce resistance from ECHO until this match had to play six matches out of seven available. Wise et al managed to win with a score of 4-2 which was quite thrilling.
Blacklist managed to win first after successfully winning the first game. However, ECHO managed to hit back in the next two games to turn 2-1 up.
These results make the competition between the two teams become much hotter than before. Fierce battles are always going on in the next games.
Even though both teams always appeared determined to be able to achieve the next victories to make the game take place quite late in the late game. However, the Blacklist is always able to come out as a winner.
In this match, Blacklist International again presents a unique pick for Wise to play in the jungler role. They brought back Guinevere jungler and also played Valentina twice in that position and always won.
This shows that the Blacklist has so many choices of heroes that Wise can use in the jungler position.
Previously, Blacklist also played Guinevere and Fredrinn jungler in the final upper bracket match, where they also faced ECHO. In that match, the Blacklist won a landslide victory 3-0.
This result also shows that ECHO is able to present a much better resistance than the previous match against the Blacklist, although it is still not enough to win.
With this victory over ECHO, Blacklist managed to get their third MPL PH title. In addition, they also have the opportunity to defend their title in the M Series, because now they and ECHO are representatives of the Philippines in the M4 World Championship.
